Dana And Cole's Story Continues.............

This second installment in this series was better than the first installment. The story continues with Cole and Dana. Dana is difficult for me to like. She is still going back and forth in regards to her feelings for Cole. She denies having any feelings for him other than sexual attraction. She goes so far that she decides to go along with the SF members' plans to betray him. Dana aggravated me so much that I wanted to reach through my Kindle and strangle her fictional neck. I really did not like her. She came off as stubborn and irrational. In this installment we get the backstory to Cole. He has truly done some really awful things in his past, but he also had a truly awful upbringing. I empathized with his character. I liked him. Of course, I do still wonder what it is exactly Cole does for a living. He owns a house, but how did he buy that house. What was he doing to support himself between the time he left The SF as a teenager and the time he kidnapped Dana? Avery was okay, but I cannot understand Dana's loyalty to him. What he does to Dana in the end bothered me. But of course, Dana was cool with it. I hope her character is more likable in the next book. The sex scenes in this installment were better than the first book. A lot of questions were answered in this book, and the characters and story were more fleshed out. I did have some confusion in regards to how an Alpha werewolf could be made to be a Beta so easily. There was some kind of mysticism involved that I did not quite grasp. I also did not like, or understand, how it was so simple for a mated couple to be unmated. Apparently all it takes is for any male werewolf to rape a female werewolf, while they are both in wolf form, and all of a sudden she is mated to said rapist and her previous mate is no longer her mate. That just seems really superficial to me. Regardless of my issues with the story so far, I am looking forward to reading the next installment in this series. Some interesting developments have been presented and I am looking forward to seeing where this story goes. Yes, I would recommend.

Amazing Sequel

I am so captivated by this series. Dana finally gets free of Cole (even though you secretly want her to be with him) and decides to try to find a way to get rid of her Beta wolves that will shift at her command. She ends up at Hunter's Moon Farm, where the women only wear long skirts and they have the whole "Big Love" thing going on. Except Dana's not up for some "Big Love". Things get interesting when Cole shows up to try to save the day.

I could not put this book down. I was fascinated by all the plot twists, Cole flashbacks, and Cole & Dana moments that everyone loves. I loved this book more than the first because of all the shocking truths revealed. And it ends with a big shocker and now I can't wait for the 3rd book. I seriously need it now.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves NA werewolf romance with some mystery and action thrown in. It's a winner and a must-read.

Hard to put down!

Once again, I could not put down this Chambers book until I swiped to the last screen. Normally, I am not a fan of werewolf books, however, I have become fascinated with this series. Chambers makes sick and twisted situations a must read. I can't help wanting Cole to get the girl. As twisted as Cole is, I can't help loving his character. He is sexy, sweet-ish and protective while being totally twisted and demented. I know Avery is the logical choice but still keep rooting for Cole. I really enjoyed getting to know some of the back story to Cole's mentality. I can not wait for book 3, even if I was cursing Chambers last night for making me wait to read the conclusion of this story.

Not the Top Book on Craps

I have enjoyed reading all of Frank Scoblete's craps books, "Forever Craps," "Beat the Craps Out of the Casinos," and "The Craps Underground," and I respect his judgment as a gambling authority. But I have to disagree with his five-star review of this particular book.

The book is written by someone who has just learned to practice a controlled throw having taken a class from golden touch and the book is therefore the early judgments of someone who really doesn't have a full grasp of the technique of dice control as would someone who has been involved with the skill as would Sharpshooter and Scoblete. These are the thoughts of a novice and as such you have to take them with a big grain of salt. In another year his thoughts might be different.

Maybe writers stick together and that's why Scoblete gave the book such a good rating. There is a tremendous amount of fluff in the book about dice challenges between Wong and unbelievers that are truly boring and comments throughout by people who are not themselves controlled shooters. Who cares what these people think? They don't know anything! Their ideas and opinions are worthless but they do take up space in an otherwise somewhat skimpy book.

If you want to read a book on precision dice shooting, then get Sharpshooter's book before you get this one.

A must have in your craps library

You must own this book if you are considering dice control!!! Stanford Wong is giving you info not trying to you sell something else. His practice tips are spot on and of course the math is perfect.

A good starter if you're new to advantage craps play

This was the first book I read on precision shooting and advantage craps play. At a time when I was ready to give up on craps as hopelessly random, this book drove home the basic concepts of precision shooting and advantage play. The advice paid immediate dividends only a month after reading; I realized consistent, improved results on my throws, and was able to classify and bet smartly on other players. As a result, I'm now enjoying the game much more and seeing improved dollar returns.
The key is that it delivered the concepts in dosages that I could digest as a newbie. This made it less daunting to get started on practicing/training at home. Also, the book gave me the "hooks" upon which to hang the more expansive knowledge I'm now getting in books such as the "Mad Professor's Crapshooting Bible", and "Beating the Craps Out of the Casinos". I honestly don't think I could handle the Mad Prof if I hadn't read Wong first!
All that being said, I thing Wong could probably use a better ghost-writer or editor to help him organize the information a little more logically. You may find yourself jumping around this book from section-to-section.
Also, be warned that about half the book is spent on "front-line" tales that, while somewhat entertaining journalism, are less educational about how to get the job done.
So, I would classify this book as Advantage Craps Play 101, and let readers know to plan on shopping for deeper follow-up information.

I have been looking for an updated replacement for this out of print book for a long time. The table of contents provides concrete topics that are not-redundant and importantly allow us to delve into 3 dimensions at the same time we are learning fundamental principles of 2-dimensional graphic design. It is a rare book that starts to fill the gap between a study of graphic design and a study of architectural design. The topics are general enough to apply to both 2-D and 3-D design; such as, primary elements, spatial forces, and visual kinetics. Architectural design training could be well supplemented by de Sausmerez's treatment of "the two-dimensional field and the space frame", "analytical drawing", and "subjective color". It's a great outline for a design study that could be augmented for architects by contributions from authors Francis Ching, Wucius Wong, and Le Corbusier's Towards a New Architecture.

So many times while reading, I wanted to reach through my Nook to hug Hannah or smack Luke. Without giving away the plot, my review will have to remain short. I will end with this. I love Karice. She is multi talented with all the different series. Not one of them did I didn't like. They were always exciting and so very different from the next. I love Luke and Hanna. I can't wait until the next book. Hopefully they will find their way back to each other. I can't wait for the next Luke Fletcher Series. If you've never read any of her books, just pick a series. All are good. You won't be disappointed!

This is truly a MUST read. Hannah 's life was so screwed. Then she Found Luke in a Starbucks. As she tried to stay hidden from the NLC, her and Luke formed a fairytale relationship .And as in all fairytales , They fell in love. Miss Bolton you are an awesome writer. Thanks for such great reading and giving me some thing to do for 4 hours.

About the Author
Biography Richard T. Banks, a native of Chicago, Illinois attended the University of Illinois, Champaign, Urbana earning a Bachelor and Master's Degree in architecture. He taught architectural design at the university for four years, prior to relocating to New York City, where he joined a prestigious international architecture and planning firm as a lead design architect on numerous large-scale projects in the U.S and abroad. His work has been widely published and honored with numerous awards, fellowships, and professional citations comprising forty years of professional practice. Richard is an avid artist, proficient in several graphic mediums including drawing, printmaking, watercolor, and acrylic painting and has exhibited in many national juried competitions. He sustains a passionate curiosity, is an ardent reader of science, art, and history; enjoys golf, woodworking, and is an excellent artisan. Richard and his wife Marilyn currently reside in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Drawing is Thinking

This book is rich, detailed and learned and extremely well written and argued. It also made me want to draw again.The author selects a nice historical and conceptual mix of his own original illustrations and good clear examples, not overkill as many books do. Although the author is learned and well informed on brain science, he explains it simply and clearly and in a non-intimidating fashion. Above all what I took away was: 1. drawing is thinking and uses the same principles as brain science to render images, and 2. we are "context machines," constantly comparing this with that to arrive at a fully realized scene, composition, image, whether as perceivers or as artists creating those scenes. We are not limited to being left-brain or right brain people. The book is also great fun to read.

Discovering Drawing by A retired teacher: Through this book I discovered drawing involves myriad disciplines. The author explores the areas of the brain,i.e. memory,creativity, motivation, and visual perception,and explains the role they play in the development of drawing. This book has given me a greater insight and appreciation for the process of drawing, art and design. I look forward to rereading various chapters to review the knowledge I have acquired. Finally, I have decided to attempt the principles of deliberate practice, outlined by Banks, to add dimension to stick figure drawings.

Connecting drawing with how the brain works is thought-provoking. In helping my students prepare to creatively design solutions to unmet customer needs, we talk about conditionalizing our knowledge in the product design space. When teams work together creatively, brainstorming, drawing is a means to quickly visualize concepts for the team to build upon; that is, prototypes - at least in 2-dimensions. This book provides clear pathways to develop and enhance our drawing skills and helps us understand how to concretely visualize our abstract ideas

Lots of variety and accessible to novice cooks!

I'm impressed that Gayatri was able to fit so many recipes into this small book! I love Indian food and recently went vegetarian; I was worried about missing Indian chicken and lamb dishes but those worries are now over. The recipes look and sound delicious and Gayatri includes several varieties of each. She also makes it accessible to the Western reader by discussing up front which spices, ingredients etc can and cannot be substituted. Can't wait to try some of these in my own kitchen soon.

Listen, if you want to learn Indian cooking, this is definitely the recipe book for you. One thing that I really appreciated with this one is the fact that it doesn’t matter if you happen to be a vegan (as I am) or not. This book will still allow you to enjoy the delicious food covered here. Now, moving on to the best thing about the book: the accompanying pictures! There were so many good, descriptive pictures alongside with every dish, and this helped me tremendously. A really good recipe book for the amount it cost me. Definitely recommended.

As a lover of exotic, spicy food, this book was a great resource for some new cooking ideas. The instructions are easy to follow and the recipes are varied and tasty. They are all vegetarian. I tried quite a few and can recommend many. You need to know where to get the ingredients and you are on your way to some exciting kitchen fun. Of note is the great info on the wonderful spices accompanied by photos.
